Episode #2
The Art of Mindful Medicine
How things have changed and how mindfulness exists in the healthcare system with Sheryl Gilson

In this episode, my mom, a doctor of nursing, nurse clinician in the ICU of one of the largest hospitals in Florida, a university educator and an expert witness dives into her past 37 years as a nurse to discuss what it’s like saving peoples lives in the ICU, what she’s learned, how things have changed and how mindfulness exists in her space of the healthcare system.

To be able to dive into the history, challenges, changes, desire and level of passion, care and love my mom and so many other nurses have for what they do is an honor and I know we all have something to gain from this experience.
