HOLISTIC BIOLOGICAL BIOMIMETIC DENTAL LONGEVITY

Dentistry in Aventura, Florida

Dentistry designed to last. Care with your whole body in mind.

Preserve what nature gave you. Understand before you decide. Treat only what needs treating.

At Our Holistic Dentistry in Aventura, I bring together biological dentistry, biomimetic restorative principles and a holistic, whole-person perspective.

The goal is not simply to repair what is broken. It is to understand why the problem is there, preserve as much healthy natural structure as possible, choose materials thoughtfully and make decisions with the future of the mouth in mind.

My Philosophy

The mouth is part of the body.

Care should feel thoughtful, not transactional.

Dental care should never be reduced to a single tooth, X-ray or procedure.

I consider the condition of the tooth, the materials already in the mouth, infection and inflammation, periodontal health, the oral microbiome, bite, TMJ, airway, sleep, nutrition and relevant health history.

That does not mean every dental problem has a whole-body explanation. It means the whole person remains part of the diagnosis and treatment conversation.

Sometimes the most mindful treatment is sophisticated restorative dentistry. Sometimes it is surgery. Sometimes it is monitoring. Sometimes it is doing less dentistry.

The question I keep coming back to:

“How do we help this tooth last as long as possible?”

Dental Longevity

Preserve more of what nature gave you.

Dentistry should think about longevity the same way the rest of health care does: preserve function for as long as reasonably possible.

Every time healthy tooth structure is removed, we have less of it available for the future.

That is why I care deeply about conservative preparation, tooth vitality, adhesive dentistry, repairability and avoiding unnecessary escalation into larger restorations.

What I Offer

Comprehensive dentistry, through a more mindful lens.

From tooth preservation and preventive care to surgery, TMJ, airway, microbiome care and implant dentistry, each service lives inside the same philosophy: understand first, preserve when possible, and make informed decisions.

How I Think About Care

Start with the whole picture. Treat only what needs treating.

01 · LISTEN
Understand your goals. Your health history, dental history, symptoms, concerns and priorities shape the evaluation from the beginning.
02 · EVALUATE
Look beyond the obvious. We evaluate teeth, gums, restorations, vitality, bite, TMJ, oral tissues and relevant whole-person factors.
03 · PRESERVE
Keep what is healthy. Whenever clinically reasonable, treatment is planned around preserving healthy tooth structure, vitality and future options.
04 · EDUCATE
Understand before you decide. I explain the options, tradeoffs, materials, limitations and long-term considerations so you can make an informed decision.

Technology With Purpose

Use technology when it helps us see more, preserve more or treat more precisely.

Technology is not the philosophy. It is a tool.

I use technology selectively when it improves diagnosis, planning, precision, communication or the ability to preserve biological tissues.

CBCT / 3D Imaging Three-dimensional evaluation when additional anatomical information is clinically useful, including selected implant, surgical and root-canal evaluations.
Low-Dose Digital X-Rays Digital diagnostic imaging with an emphasis on obtaining the information we need while limiting unnecessary exposure.
Platelet-Rich Fibrin An autologous blood-derived material used as a healing adjunct in selected extraction, grafting and implant procedures.
Ozone Ozone and ozonated water may be used as adjunctive tools in selected surgical, hygiene and clinical workflows.
Oral Microbiome Testing Saliva-based microbial testing can provide another layer of information about the oral ecosystem and help personalize prevention conversations.
Laser Modern laser technology allows us to precisely treat and preserve healthy biology.
Digital Intra-Oral Scanner Digital CAD/CAM technology used for precision, comfort and efficiency.
Digital Treatment Planning Digital imaging and planning can support clear aligner therapy, restorative treatment and implant planning.
TENS & Neuromuscular Therapy Utilizing modern neuromuscular TENS technology to treat Temporo-mandibular joint disorder (TMJD).

Not Every Problem Needs the Same Lens

Biological. Biomimetic. Holistic. Use the right principles at the right time.

Labels are useful only if they change the way we think.

A cracked tooth may need a primarily biomimetic solution.

Mercury removal may demand a biological exposure-reduction protocol.

Recurrent decay may require us to think about nutrition, saliva and microbial ecology.

Jaw pain may require a TMJ, muscular and sleep conversation.

Good dentistry is knowing which questions matter most for the patient sitting in front of me.

Holistic, Biological + Biomimetic Dentist in South Florida

Thoughtful dentistry in Aventura, Florida.

I practice at Our Holistic Dentistry in Aventura, serving patients from Miami, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, throughout South Florida and beyond.

Patients often come looking for a holistic dentist, biological dentist or biomimetic dentist.

I think the more important question is: how does that philosophy actually change the treatment plan?

It should change how we diagnose, how much tooth we remove, which materials we use, how we think about infection, how we plan surgery, how we approach prevention, and how much information we give patients before asking them to make a decision.

Begin With a Comprehensive Evaluation

Your treatment plan should be as individual as you are.

We start by understanding what is happening now, what matters most to you and which path best supports the long-term health of your mouth.

Sometimes that means treatment. Sometimes preservation. Sometimes monitoring. The first step is understanding the difference.
